The Beacon of Compassion

This art-work was created for Artstation Challenge "Feudal Japan: The Shogunate", category Prop Art (rendered). Here you can get closed to the details and all other stuff https://www.artstation.com/contests/feudal-japan/challenges/50/submissions/37227
I was greatly inspired by art-works of Elodie Mondoloni https://www.artstation.com/contests/feudal-japan/challenges/57/submissions/34058?sorting=survivors
This work consists of three props. Here I share the Beacon of Compassion. I tried to preserve that mystical and peaceful spirit of initial concept and bring my vision to that work. Therefore appears symbolism of Bushido and Kanjis on the lanterns and banner. Since I was limited in textures in that challenge, I solved tough problem of finding that subtle edge between quantity of details, scale of my props and quality of textures, to convey my work as intended!
Thanks for watching, come along to my submission and challenge at all, there are many interesting and beautiful works!
